To try to think beyond the horizon is a desire to live beyond the living, beyond the dying, to be lost among those never dead and never born.
My method is a kind of philosophical necrophilia, a living soul in love with all the possibilities of the dead, all the thoughts that didn’t make it, or were only half-remembered, only recollected dismembered. Perversion with a purpose. To know ourselves is to love our ghosts, to keep the dead among the living, to cherish life while busy dying.
